The new Paramedic Station includes drive-through apparatus bays with heating and exhaust systems. The new space will also include medical equipment storage, fitness/workout areas, women’s and men’s toilet rooms complete with shower/locker facilities, decontamination/equipment cleaning room and storage. The administrative area will house multiple work stations, a day room/staff lounge, kitchen, public toilet room and a training room/multi-purpose room with integrated audio/visual and teleconferencing capabilities. The facility will have an emergency generator capable of providing 100% of the support functions of the building.
