Theodore J. Smulski, P.E.
Sr. Structural Engineer
Mr. Smulski is a Registered Professional Engineer with over thirty years of experience in analysis, engineering and design of new structures and modifications to existing structures. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree and a Masters of Civil Engineering degree.
Ted provides structural analysis and design for industrial, institutional and commercial projects. These projects include laboratories, industrial buildings, pilot plants, process facilities and residential projects. Ted's work involves completing engineering calculations, analysis/modeling, structural steel and concrete design, pipe and equipment supports, foundations and substructures, plus providing a full range of construction support and inspection services. Ted is active in the civil engineering community. He is an active member and past president of the Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware Chapter of the American Concrete Institute and also a member of the Structural Engineering Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
John M. Sentman III, P.E.
Sr. Chemical Engineer
Mr. Sentman is a Registered Professional Engineer with approximately 28 years of engineering experience in process design, process development, process control and project management. He has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from the University of Delaware.
Jay has been responsible for conceptual process design as well as preparing and managing the preparation of detailed design packages. Jay has also prepared complex equipment and instrumentation specifications. Jay is an active member and past Chair of the Wilmington, Delaware AIChE Chapter. Jay also taught Environmental Design at the University of Delaware.
Paul Gerard, P.E., LEED AP, CBCP
Sr. Mechanical Engineer
Mr. Gerard is a Registered Professional Engineer with over 20 years of engineering, design and project management experience. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Delaware.
Paul's portfolio includes research and development, institutional, commercial and industrial projects. His expertise includes mechanical HVAC and plumbing systems. Paul is also a LEED Accredited Professional and a Certified Building Commissioning Professional. Paul is active in several professional organizations. He participated in the ISPE committee that prepared the OSD Baseline Guide and was a presenter at a ISPE National Meeting. He is also a teacher for the State of Delaware, HVAC Technician Apprenticeship Program.
Michael J. Martorano, P.E.
Sr. Electrical Engineer
Mr. Martorano is a Registered Professional Engineer with over 32 years of engineering and design experience. He has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Mike has experience in engineering and design of electrical systems for many types of facilities. His role is typically Lead or Senior Electrical Engineer. Mike engineers and designs electrical systems ranging from whole site medium voltage distribution systems to complex power distribution and stand by power systems. His experience as a power utility engineer with PECO and Atlantic Electric allows Mr. Martorano to contribute in a unique way on complex projects. Mike is a member and past Section Chairman of IEEE.
